The illusion of many things

For many years I have emphasised the 'illusion of mental health provision', the 'illusion of leadership', the 'illusion of safety' or the 'illusion of professionalism'

I have always been vocal, but as I grow older as a professional and business owner, I feel it more important than ever to

👉 call people out
👉 call bad practice out
👉 say it as it is.

There are:
🤔 People who play the 'victim' - after a sympathy vote when they get caught out
🤔 There are professional qualifications that are constantly undermined. People living off them after blagging their way through
🤔 Women with revealing clothes, or cheeky chappy handsome blokes with six-packs who are elevated due to their looks... and contacts

Illusion is everywhere, and social media and ChatGPT is making it harder to cut through the charlatans

Questions I currently ask myself:

1️⃣ Is hashtag#NEBOSH doing anything to prevent the Open Book Exam Scenarios being put through ChatGPT?

2️⃣ Are employers able to speak up about horrendous experiences with charlatans, or is being quiet needed to protect your brand due to the risk of looking like your picking on someone?

3️⃣ Am I turning into a whinging old man? or is it just that I have always disliked bullshi**ers, the big corner cutters, and those who tell bare faced lies

The best people are real people who know their limits
Motivation, teamwork and integrity are the best baseline.
