In this guitar lesson I'm going to show you how to play a vocal melody arrangement of The Sesame Street Theme Song. Cuz why not?.... Ya gotta keep things fun and interesting. We will be using Triads, 3rds and 6ths to play the melody and instrumental parts. Never say no to an idea no matter how silly it may seem. I stumbled across the sesame street melody messing around with some licks the other day. We are going to harmonize that melody with 3rds, 4ths, 6ths, and triads to give it a fuller more vocal sound. It's a great way to practice rhythm, timing, muting, and hybrid picking on different string sets. Like a lot of other 90's kids, I grew up watching Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers and Bozo The Clown every morning before kindergarten.
