Reese lives with her parents, Wyeth and Sarah, her two sisters, and Basco, her dog. She is an athlete, a musician, a good friend, and a loving sister. And, like many of you, Reese lives with type 1 diabetes. Reese’s family has been living with diabetes since her diagnosis in 2016.
Reese’s family discovered Tidepool at a time when they were searching for support, connection, and the right tools to help her live a full life with diabetes. Although diabetes clearly doesn’t stop their daughter, Wyeth and Sarah are excited that better technology is potentially within reach, and they’re closely following the work we’re doing at Tidepool.
Tidepool is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to make diabetes data more accessible, meaningful, and actionable. We are championing the DIY automated insulin dosing algorithm through the FDA regulatory process, with the intent of making Tidepool Loop available via the App Store.
