Alison Eldredge is an internationally-renowned cellist known for her exceptional talent and contributions to classical music. Born in New York City to Japanese and American parents, she began studying piano at the age of three and later transitioned to the cello. Her early studies included mentorship from renowned cellists such as Harvey Shapiro and Yo-Yo Ma.

Eldredge gained national attention at a young age, performing as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at age twelve and with the New York Philharmonic at age fifteen. She has been awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant and was named Musical America's "Young Artist of the Year."

Throughout her career, Eldredge has performed with major orchestras around the world, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony, Moscow Virtuosi, and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. She has also appeared with orchestras in Asia, such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony and China National Symphony.

Her performances have been critically acclaimed, with notable highlights including her debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performing the Elgar Cello Concerto under the baton of Daniel Barenboim. She has toured extensively, performing in prestigious venues and festivals across the globe.

In addition to her performance career, Alison Eldredge is dedicated to music education. She has taught at institutions such as the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and Harvard University, and she has given masterclasses at various universities and schools. Eldredge co-founded the Young Talent Chamber Music camp in Connecticut and has been actively involved in teaching cello and chamber music at summer music festivals.
