Amoung current automotive gauge repair facilities, we are one of few that have successfully repaired both the VDO senders fit to both he roadster and the Gull wing" models. Senders and gauges are quite different in operation from each other, the roadster actually being a four wire unit that sends a 3 phase signal to the "Barber pole" style rotating gauge. Converter units work well, however, there is nothing quite as important as preservation of older technology. The more difficult Roadster sender we will have a video of repairs on soon. The Gull Wing unit was easily repaired as results seen here.
