Healthy people are trying to rewire their bodies, not to fix them, but to enhance them through ‘Biohacking’. Biohackers are taking matters into their own hands and foregoing clinical trials and medical approval. Their goal is to create humanity 2.0.

Many claims of biohacking remain unproven, but some have entered the medical mainstream.

The Enhanced Games, a controversial sports competition that allows athletes to take performance-enhancing drugs, is pioneering the concept of biohacking. Due to take place in Las Vegas next year, the games will promote the idea of upgrading our bodies to reach optimum performance.
