Terri and Michelle decided to start a support group for widows and widowers in April of 2009. We saw a need for a group committed to helping widows and widowers through the most difficult time in their life. Our support group on meetup.com has grown to over 800 members and is still growing.

The mission of Widows Helping Widows is to help widows and widowers through their grief journey. Our calling is to walk alongside those in their grief journey, and for no one to get stuck in their grief. The purpose of our channel is to reach more people who have lost their spouse. While we ourselves are not counselors, we have gone through this process and have come out the other side. We hope that we can help you or someone you know that is dealing with the grief of losing a spouse.

Widows Helping Widows currently holds bi-monthly support group meetings in person and on zoom in the north Dallas area (Frisco, TX).
