Born in Tokyo, Sachi Gina Kobayashi has been playing piano at the highest level since a very early age. A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, and Manhattan School of Music in NYC. She won the first prize at the 'New York Debut series competition' in 2002. She has since performed US and the Japan, performing extensively as a classical pianist and as a singer of more contemporary music. Sachi is an accomplished arranger and a skilled composer, and has a unique playing style– singing whilst playing a rich piano accompaniment. Despite her classical background, enjoys covering all sorts of popular music into pianistic style. She has a fondness for 80s AOR "Adult Orientated Rock."

沙智=ジーナ 　　　　　　　　 　　　　　　　　　東京都出身。３歳よりピアノを始める。１０歳でコンチェルトソリストデビュー。インターローケン芸術高校、マンハッタン音楽院ピアノ科卒業。２００２年アーティスト・インターナショナル主催ニューヨーク・新人デビューシリーズ コンペティション優勝。同年１０月カーネギーホールにてソロデビューリサイタル開催しニューヨークで演奏活動を続ける。現在は日本を拠点に演奏活動中。クラシックのみならず幅広いジャンルをレパートリーとする。中でも特に８０年代A.O.R(Adult Oriented Rock)をこよなく愛し、アレンジを楽しむユニークなピアニスト。ヴォーカリスト、作曲家、編曲家としても活動中。クラシックの演奏テクニックを活かした重厚なピアノに歌を乗せる独自のスタイルを展開している。
