According to information found on TikTok, Midnight Sting has rewritten a lot of the lyrics in the beginning of 2023 but had some trouble getting a derivative license to release a finished version of the song hence the original by Charlie Puth is unreleased too (in a screenshot by people associated with Charlie Puth, "it's not in the database yet" to make it possible. So it seems he left the song unfinished. Some vocals and harmonies are left out and the instrumental track hasn't been changed yet.
