What do you do when your pistons air seal goes bad?

1: Make sure it isn't your cylinder head that isn't leaking.

2: Stretch O-ring over cylinder and gently heat it with a lighter or heat gun, then let it cool.

3: Replace O-ring with new one if stretching doesn't work.

Note: Often times cheap/ worn plastic piston heads will be difficult to get a good seal out of. Consider replacing your piston head too!

Regarding hollowed O-rings... You may experience the above mentioned issues in many cases, but not all. I have personally found that standard O-rings are cheaper and less problematic, and I have gotten 99.999999% perfect air seal with standard O-rings in many cases. The compression parts play just as big a role as the O-rings. BUT, Don't be discouraged from experimenting with them anyway. Find something I haven't and share it if you like.
