Day 1 in Yellowstone National Park!
My parents, brother Luxor, sister Sariah and I (Shyla) kicked off our family trip with some wild adventures (and food). Here’s what we did:
🍝 Ate elk pasta & bison stew at Bullwinkle’s in West Yellowstone
🏕️ Camped at Madison Campground
🌊 Took a walk near Firehole River (with some old montage footage from a few summers back)
💩 Found a HUGE pile of bison poop (the steam from the river had an egg fart smell, according to my little sister 🤣)
🌋 Explored Fountain Flats, bubbling mud pots, and Midway Geyser Basin (including the Grand Prismatic!)
🦬 Stood just 5 feet away from a bison (don’t try this at home…)
🌟 Explored the visitor center & gift shop (my sister got her Jr. Ranger outfit and immediately promoted herself to boss of the family 😂)
🌋Watched Old Faithful erupt
📸 Stopped by Yellowstone Lake for a quick pic
🚐 Checked into Fishing Bridge RV Campground
This was only the beginning—stay tuned for more Yellowstone adventures!
