Desert Shield and Desert Storm
This is a ‘memories video’ (converted from VHS) that I made aboard the USS Saratoga; it is interspersed with a few video-messages (to my wife) showing the ship.
The date and time displayed on my camcorder were the date and time reflected State-side (home-port time) - I never adjusted the camera when we departed Mayport - that way, when I would send the video-message home, it would be seen what was transpiring onboard the Saratoga at home-port time of day.
