At 85 years our mother, Beatrice Hesley, is still singing. We asked her to record this song (I'll Wish I Had Given Him More a.k.a. By and By When I Look On His Face) because it is on an old LP recording called "Camp Meeting Echoes 1969," which was recorded when she was 34 years old. That LP has also been downloaded to YouTube and you can hear the 1969 version there at about 20:45. She is also singing on that recording (1969) with her friend, Jeanine Buck. They can be heard at 10:37 on that recording. Enjoy.
