Die Wurzeln von Chaos Path liegen im nordisch geprägtem Melodic Black Metal, den die Band mit der Ruppigkeit des deutschen Thrash vermengt und somit eine Mixtur formt, die innovativ und bahnbrechend ist. Das Bandgefüge um die beiden Gründungsmitglieder Ancient Weapon (v) und Richy Backfire (g) sowie Langzeitdrummer Soul Obliterator wurde in den letzten zwei Jahren mit dem Einstieg der neuen Mitglieder Nocturnal Reaper (g) und The Doom Lord (b) kräftig aufgewertet und so bekam das stärkste Line-up der mittlerweile achtjährigen Bandgeschichte Realität. The arrival of the emperor is near and the world as we know it is doomed. The first single “Night Of The Blade” makes this clear and shows the Kassel-based band Chaos Path completely in their element. The roots of Chaos Path lie in Nordic-influenced melodic black metal, which the band combines with the rawness of German thrash to form a mixture that is innovative and groundbreaking. The band structure around the two founding members Ancient Weapon (v) and Richy Backfire (g) as well as long-term drummer Soul Obliterator has been greatly enhanced in the last two years with the arrival of new members Nocturnal Reaper (g) and The Doom Lord (b), making the strongest line-up in the band's eight-year history a reality.
