Evolution of FlatOut (2004-2017)

FlatOut is a racing game by the Finnish developer Bugbear. It was released in late 2004 by the British publisher Empire Interactive for the platforms Windows, PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

FlatOut is based on games like Destruction Derby. FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage is the third part of the FlatOut series by the Finnish developer Bugbear. The game was released June 22, 2007 by British publisher Empire Interactive for the Xbox 360 in Europe, while the Windows version was released on July 29, 2008. It's essentially a remake of FlatOut 2 for current consoles. Therefore, essential elements of the game are similar or even identical to its predecessor

FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction :

is the sixth part of the FlatOut series and was developed by Team6. It was released in 2011 for Windows and initially could only be purchased through the online platform Steam.

The game principle is essentially modeled on its predecessors. The game presents in many ways, eg. As the vehicle selection and the variety of routes, an enlarged version of the predecessor.

The game received exceptionally bad ratings on numerous game magazines. Frequently criticized were numerous bugs, poor control and a very realistic driving physics.

FlatOut 4: Total Insanity:

flatOut 4 will be released March 17, 2017 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version was released on April 4, 2017
