The Digitech Mosaic is a 12 string emulation stomp box that works on both acoustic and electric guitars. Effectively turning your six string single neck guitar into a double neck 12 / 6 string guitar.
It does this by adding an upper octave sound to the lower E,A and D Strings and creating a doubling effect on the top three strings.
At 300Ma its current draw is high and I’m assuming this is because it is a polyphonic pitch shifter. Which is what allows it to track well enough to replicate a 12 string so well.
I think this an excellent alternative to having to carry a 12 string around and also allows you to switch between 12 and 6 string sounds which is it’s biggest benefit for me.
