The Haflinger horse originated between the Southern Tyrolean Mountains of Austria and Northern Italy in 1874 and traces its ancestry to the Middle Ages. They were workhorses, pulling carts and packs throughout the intense trails of the European mountains. During this film we will discuss the Haflinger’s history, uses, grooming, colors and markings, weight and height, diet and nutrition, and common health concerns.
