Of all the different national and regional cuisines in Southeast Asia, the food of the Philippines could be the most overlooked. Unlike Thai and Vietnamese, Filipino flavors do not have a prominent place on the world stage. After spending a month, dining in restaurants and food stalls there, I think it deserves more attention.
In this video, I will offer up a couple dozen tastes from the Philippines. They all come from the island of Cebu. Some I found on my own in restaurants and some I discovered on a tremendous food tour.

I am a couple of years into full-time travel. I choose destinations that are located all around the world and show what those places are like from my perspective. I subscribe to the slow travel method and I make all of these journeys by myself. Solo travel can be extremely liberating.
