On the Mirna Bridge project in Croatia, the Casagrande B250 XP-2 is demonstrating its full capabilities, working on demanding H-beams driving operations with the support of an impact hydraulic hammer.
The project involves the installation of H-beams for the foundations of a new bridge structure. Each base is formed by 16 H-beams, making a total of 18 bases. The individual elements are 12 meters long and are welded to reach the final installation depth of 36 to 63 meters, requiring precision, power and reliability to meet the technical requirements of the project.
To cope with these challenging depths, the B250 XP-2 has been specially configured with an impact hydraulic hammer set-up, enabling efficient driving of the H-beams through varying soil conditions, reducing downtime and ensuring the project schedule remains on track.
