Ypres is Belgium's hidden gem!

Ypres in Belgium is our final leg in our 2021 European road trip, in a VW California campervan.
Vanlife holidays are THE BEST!
It's been a very varied trip and this video shows a very varied visit to this beautiful part of the world.
We stayed at a great campsite called Camping Jeugdstadion, it's less than a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ypres.
Ypres is steeped in history, and a huge memorial to the fallen in world war 1, which includes the last post at Menin Gate every evening at 8PM.
The last post is an extremely emotional experience and should be witnessed by everyone as it puts everything into perspective.
We visited the museums, including a very strange cat museum!
Ate at some great restaurants, drank local beer and met some lovely people.
