Dr. Catarina Amorin, Pediatric Professor at Univaço, shares this exciting scenario featuring 𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗶𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗫𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲.

While the team administers the anti-scorpion venom serum, the infant presents anaphylactic effects: Low oxygen saturation, coagulation disorder, tachycardia, tachypnea, hypotension, sinus bradycardia, apnea.

To counter these effects, the team performs cardioversion, positive-pressure ventilation, CPR, orotracheal intubation, among other techniques.
