Invite yourself to experience this stress reduction meditation, setting the stage for overall well-being and quality sleep.

A daily practice of relaxation encourages a felt response throughout the whole body and being.

Relaxation reduces stress symptoms, boosts the immunity, promotes a sense of well-being, encourages healing and even reduces the risk of disease.

In this meditation, I guide you to address the internal stress you carry, through progressive tensing and stretching to relax your muscles, unhook from negative thoughts, and enjoy quiet time in a deeply relaxed state.

You will be equipping yourself for a significant difference in your entire being, for a healthier you and lifestyle.

This unique relaxation meditation consists of a blend of techniques; progressive relaxation, autogenics, self talk and visualization, set to a background of special sounds that encourage the natural process of relaxed learning. It takes advantage of your conscious ability to learn through visual, audio and body-based kinesthetic abilities.

This meditation does not use subliminal messages, but rather trust your natural and conscious ability to learn a new way of being.

Approximately 28 minutes long, you'll be guided through a gentle meditation to help you unhook all unconscious tension from your physical body. It uses careful self-talk as a basic self education that will support you to recover your power to exert your "mind over matter" abilities.

In a powerful but playful way, you'll learn to release thought processes that busy your mind to your ability to choose inner peace. The meditation culminates in an uplifting vision of healing and affirms your naturally positive nature and potential.

Ideally, you will listen to this meditation once a day to help you gain deep relaxation, thereby laying the foundation for a healthy physical and psychological self.

Nine guidelines to using this relaxation guided meditation:

1. Consider an ideal daily time and commit to listening to your relaxation meditation everyday. Those that designate a specific time to a practice, whether it be there fitness routine, spirituality, etc. are much more likely to stick to their commitment. It becomes an ingrained part of their self-care ritual.

2. For your first listening experience, listen to the entire meditation throughout in an aware state so that you hear fully all that it consists of. You are then ready to practice it.

3. Attend to potential distractions by turning off devices, removing eyeglasses, loosening tight belts or clothing. Be warm and comfortable, either reclining or laying down, place a pillow under your knees, and have a blanket close by in case you get cold.

4. A soothing sound will play in the background, consisting of a special blend of "white sound," gentle music and a comforting, gradually slowing heartbeat to filter out distractions and encourage you into a deep level of relaxation.

5. You will be guided to physically tighten, stretch, and let go of specific muscle groups throughout your body to relieve unconscious tension. This part of the exercise is vital to your relaxation success! You will be amazed at how good a few big stretches can contribute to a deep feeling of peace and well-being.

6. Though I will talk to you and visual language, don't worry if you do not "see" the images I suggest. Perhaps, you will experience them more like thoughts or ideas. Whatever you experience is exactly right for you.

7. And, don't worry if you go to sleep during the exercise, the messages will still have their effect. Chances are, if you come back to full awareness at the end of the meditation, you likely followed along but from a deeply relaxed state.

8. Occasionally, if you have no time to listen to your meditation, you can simply play it in your room as you go about your household chores, or even as you deliberately roll over to go to sleep.

IMPORTANT - it is vital that you do not listen to this meditation while driving, working with power tools, or doing anything that requires your undivided, concentrated attention!

9. Finally, be really gentle with yourself when you come back to a wakeful state.

With committed practice, you will reduce tension, enhance the quality of your daily life and sleep better. This meditation is your time with no one else to please, so enjoy!
