Did you know that an average of 1,000 children a year become ill with a vaccine-preventable disease? Now is a good time to learn the facts about childhood vaccines to help keep your children safe. Check out this podcast to learn how vaccines work to protect your children, normal vaccine side effects, when to get certain vaccines, answers to your frequently asked questions, and information about the HPV and meningitis vaccines as well. Experts from the Tuscarawas County Health Department (including Amy Kaser, RN, Director of Nursing; and Valerie Wallace, RN, BSN, Public Health Nurse) will guide you through this "lesson" on Childhood Vaccination 101.
