This Dell XPS 9500 came in completely dead after the owner tried replacing the keyboard and palmrest himself. At first glance, there was no visible damage—but powering it only worked with a test battery and a strange 3.7V trick. I spent hours chasing the missing voltage until I uncovered the real issue: ripped chips right off the board. Most shops would’ve scrapped it, but I brought it back from the dead.
