How to make a Cable 4 Back Left Handed. Cables are one of the first things people tend to think of when they hear knitting. Making a Cable 4 Back or C4B creates a right leaning cable. It is easy to do and makes a beautiful look in your knitting.
A Cable 4 Back involves a total of four stitches. The first of two stitches of our four stitch group are transferred from our right hand needle to our cable needle and allowed to drop to the back (the side that is away from us) of our work. We will then knit the next two stitches off of our right hand needle. Next we will either transfer the two stitches from our cable needle BACK to our right hand needle and proceed to knit them onto our left hand needle or if we are using a cable needle/reserve like the one in this video knit them from the cable needle onto our left hand needle.
