How to Invoice Clients For Your SMMA

Here’s something you need to know about meetings with clients.

They can go amazingly. You can sit and speak solidly and confidently for an hour, you can laugh and joke; they can be amazed by your pitch, completely sold on the principle and ridiculously-excited about what you’re going to do for their business; and you can shake hands on a deal well done.

But you’ve just lost a client.

Unless you signed them right there in the room, or on the call, until the money’s in your Stripe account and the invoice is settled - you’ve not got your client yet.

In the split second it takes the client to leave the call, leave the room, or the days that follow as they wait to speak to a partner… they’ve got anywhere from one to a million chances to rethink their decision.

That’s when buyer’s remorse kicks in - is it too much? Couldn’t they just do it by themselves? Is now the right time.

And the client you’ve been congratulating yourself for signing is lost forever.
