'Bicycles, Boomerangs and Blue Macaws' is a childrens songwriting project that took place between November 2022 to June 2023 in Co. Laois. Composers Sarah Murphy and Lorna McLaughlin worked with children from Cloneyhurke, Paddock and Rath National Schools to create original 6 songs, in response to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Funded by the Arts Council's Children, Young People and Education Commissions Award and Creative Ireland Laois.
