As the former capital of Japan for over a thousand years, Kyoto is a beautiful city and prefecture rich with culture and history. This was my first visit to the Heian Shrine and I fell in love with the place. The architecture is absolutely gorgeous and the surrounding Shin'en Garden is beautiful too. Definitely recommend this one!
