GCR Nottingham to Loughborough fly-through (labels updated)

Using Google Earth Pro to track the alignment of the original Great Central Railway, from the site of Nottingham Victoria Station (now Victoria Shopping Centre) to the preserved Loughborough Central Station. Part of the trackbed is occupied by the rails of Nottingham Express Transit, still under construction on the date of the satellite imagery. A long stretch is in use by the GCR North heritage railway, and the projected link with the main GCR section is clearly visible at the Loughborough end, with the new bridge in place over the Midland main line.
