In this lesson we're going to take a look at how Jerry Garcia would approach a typical shuffle blues by analyzing the first chorus from his solo on "Next Time You See Me" from the album Hundred Year Hall.
I've also uploaded the backing track I created for this solo so that you can practice Jerry's solo with it, then practice improvising your own solos using the concepts gleaned from this lesson.
