Ottawa Summer Heatwave: A Walk Through Canada's Capital in 4K

Hello! You've caught me sweating buckets walking towards the downtown city center of Ottawa during the hottest day of the year so far. There's a humid summer heatwave in effect - temperatures are hitting a soggy & scorching 44°C / 111°F with the humidex and people are desperate for all sorts of ways to cool off during the hot Canadian summer days.

Today we're starting off our summer stroll along the beautiful Rideau Canal, trying to cool off by the water, and heading to the busy Confederation Square and Rideau Shopping Center district - before wandering through the popular Byward Market enjoying the scenic sights and sounds the city has to offer.
