Welcome to my Quick Takayama Tour! 🇯🇵
In this vlog, I spent a few hours exploring the charm of Takayama, Gifu and even though my time was limited, I definitely made the most out of it.
First stop: Hida beef skewers and Hida beef onigiri. So juicy, flavorful, and truly different from any beef you’ll try outside Japan. After that, I explored the Hida Takayama Retro / Showa Museum, a nostalgic time-travel experience filled with old toys, school canteens, retro classrooms, and classic arcade games like Street Fighter, Pac-Man, and Galaxy.
Then I tried hot sake, and even bought my sake cup from a gachapon machine for 200 yen! 😂 And before heading back to the bus, I grabbed another round of Hida beef onigiri because… how can you not?
