Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras: Batad, Bangaan and Banaue [Amazing Places 4K]

Possibly the oldest and some of the most beautiful Rice Terraces in the world are in the Philippine Cordilleras, they are known as Iffugao Rice Terraces or Banaue Rice Terraces. This UNESCO World Heritage Site includes 5 clusters of terraces, Batad being the most famous. Quote from UNESCO World Heritage Centre: "For 2,000 years, the high rice fields of the Ifugao have followed the contours of the mountains ..., they have helped to create a landscape of great beauty that expresses the harmony between humankind and the environment."
