Mt. Kulago is a popular tourist spot situated at the municipality of Impasug-ong in the province of Bukidnon. It is well-known as “The Hummingbird Mountain” of Bukidnon by the locals with its breathtaking views and trail for 3 hours ascending to its top.
Mt. Kulago is equally breathtaking like the other ranges and mountains in Bukidnon. You can also go on a side trip to Communal Ranch. The view-deck has the view of Mt. Dulang-Dulang and Mt. Kitanglad, The second and fourth highest mountain in the Philippines.
The hike to Mt. Kulago is 90% open field/grassland. You can bring an umbrella because there area areas where you can definitely use one with ease. During sunny weather the heat can be intense but that makes the view incredibly beautiful. This can make your pace slower and make sure you bring enough water at least 3liters.
