Apple pie filling:
10 cups peeled and sliced honey crisp apples
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Cook the apple mixture for 10-15 minutes in a DO before adding it to the pie crust to ensure the apple cook all the way through.
