Ostrip | LED Strip Light w/App | Review and Unboxing | Olight

I bought a flashlight from the olight website a couple of years back and they sent me an ostrip for a free gift around thanksgiving to Christmas time, somewhere in that era. I had plans to put it on a tv but I didn't want to apply the 3m adhesive onto the tv because I wanted to use the strip as a versatile light that I could move back and forth and maybe put it in my windows as well. This Ostrip began working in sections, as some of the strip did not light up at first. When I fully rolled the Ostrip out, that is when the Ostrip would fully work and illuminate fully. This is a fun little device when it illuminates fully and I have found that when it it curled up, or rolled up, it has problems sending the signals to the whole strip and some of the sections may not work, especially in multicolor mode. Overall, this is an exciting product and I am happy to have received it. This was a wonderful gift to get for free and I am excited to see how longer strips work as well. I enjoy their products and have a small collections that I am proud of. I used this product on the back of my television, however, I did not use or peel the 3m adhesive to keep it on there, I rolled it up loosely around the wall mount housing and gently arranged it so it would not stretch or bend if I moved the tv back and forth and binding it too tight caused the lights not not work fully, like they were originally out of the box, and too loosely caused the lights to sag and hang below the tv, which did not look good. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who likes lights like I do. They have a mode for every season and the lights are very brilliant. Ostrip uses and regular USB plug in and that plugs directly into the back of your tv's extra USB plug in. There is a manual switch on the device, however, that only cycles through 3 modes of colors.
