From Jack Pettis' final recording session -- a one-off in Hollywood, CA, on the Variety label, a product of his old pal Irving Mills. Pettis had not appeared on record for over 6 years at this point, and his playing style evidently shifted leading up to this recording very much!
Besides Pettis, the only known personnel are Al Goering (p, arr) and Shorty Sherock (trumpet). This is of course a Pettis-Goering composition, as is the flip to this record and the two unissued titles that were recorded at this same session -- "Going Harlem In Havana" and "Oh Yeah". That is known, this is the talented songwriting duo's last collaboration together.
