Wildlife photography and videography typically only leave you a few moments with your subjects. Shall you take photos or videos? If you take photos you will have no footages to your wild life films. But you take videos you may extract some video frames that can be processed to photos. The frames that candidates as possible photos I call golden frames. How good are such frames compared with "real photos". I discuss the pros and cons of getting photos from video frames, and I show a number of examples; primarily of red deers in Danish forests.
