Top Fashion Designers of All Time

The question of the best fashion designer is hard to answer, so instead here’s my list of the most famous designers and what about their work made them so noteworthy. In this medium, we’ve had many designers who have impacted the scope of the art form and who were able to turn their fashion internship into their career. Others were simply capable of utilizing great manufacturing and teams of photographers, makeup artists, stylists, and atelier hands to become great innovators or product titans. The stories behind the shirts and the bags we all love from the brands we all know like Gucci, Versace, Valentino, Dior and Fendi - those are only possible through the respective directors and creatives that compose this list - from Issey Miyake to Virgil Abloh, Yves Saint Laurent and Cristóbal Balenciaga.
