After spending almost 35 minutes of anticipated waiting on both Tracks No. 14 & 15, a 16-car JR Central N700A Series Shinkansen Set No. G44 arrived at Tokyo Station at exactly 8.17 a.m. on Track No. 15. The 16-car train had just arrived as the Shinkansen "KODAMA" Superexpress No. 812 bound for Tokyo from Shizuoka earlier, and was to undergo an extensive main train interior cleaning procedure at the station before becoming the Shinkansen "HIKARI" Superexpress No. 635 bound for Shin-osaka. The entire cleaning procedure took not more than approximately 10 minutes that early morning.
