Well she finally arrived and is a welcomed surprise! Defa Lucy has REALLY pulled out all the stops with this release. This doll, infact all the dolls they’ve shown for this year, looks amazing! She truly feels luxury! Her set comes with enough pieces for 3 different looks. The fact she arrives in her lingerie shows that they want us to play with her and enjoy the details they have in each garment piece. It’s the quality that I’ve been missing in fashion doll lines recently, and this doll is a perfect reminder that it is possible. Before Miss Defa Lucy arrived I went to Target, and found the Rare Find Deluxe Style Raquelle! Who is one of my favorite Barbie friends. I’ll never forget the series, Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse. That was a series I wish Mattel would revisit, should they get the same team behind it. All in all as far as new Barbie dolls go, I think she’s very nice. But by far, my favorite find has to be Defa Lucy.
