In 1995 the May Day bank holiday was moved to 8 May as it was the 50th anniversary of VE Day. Therefore, the first day of the summer term of schools programmes was moved to Friday 5 May. This is the fifth junction from that day. The clip includes the end credits to Place and People and the opening titles to The English Programme (Programme 1, Thirty-Second Culture, from the unit, The Glittering Haze.) at 10:40 AM. Broadcast 25 years ago today!
