The best part of my life has always been the mountains and the journeys they gift me. Out here, I’ve witnessed miracles, life-saving moments, and met some of the most loving people who make the Himalayas even more magical.

To dive deeper into this way of life, I’ve decided not just to visit but to live with the locals, explore their villages, traditions, and stories. And this beautiful journey begins in a small Kinnauri village called Kalpa.

🏔️ About Kalpa
Kalpa is a stunning little hamlet in Himachal Pradesh, tucked away in the Kinnaur district at an altitude of about 9,711 ft. It is famous for its breathtaking views of the Kinner Kailash range, serene apple orchards, and wooden houses that look straight out of a painting. With snow-capped peaks in the backdrop and warm-hearted locals, Kalpa is nothing short of a dream destination for mountain lovers.

I’ve chosen to spend 9 days in Kalpa, soaking in the village life, exploring nearby trails, ancient monasteries, and temples, and of course, enjoying the unmatched beauty of the Himalayas. From peaceful mornings with the mountains to conversations with locals, this series will capture the essence of living in Kalpa.
