Dve butkice ukupne tezine 3,5 kg
2 glavice luka
Stabljika i koren celera u kolicini po zelji
1 sagrarepa
1 koren persuna
Nekoliko cenova belog luka
Nekoliko zrna crnog bibera
2 kasike masti
Za premaz:
1 kafena kasicica senfa
1 kafena kasicica paradajz paste
1 kasika soja sosa
1 kasika rostiljskog sosa
1/2 kafene kasicice belog luka u prahu
Malo ulja
100 ml piva
Staviti butkice u vrelu vodu da se kuvaju. Skidati penu koja se javlja tokom kuvanja. Naseckati povrce. Posle 30 minuta kuvanja dodati povrce i biber i nastaviti sa kuvanjem. Posle 3 sata kuvanja izvaditi butkice da se malo ocede. Tepsiju premazati sa dve kasike masti pa dodati krompir, odozgo staviti resetku od rerne pa na nju staviti butkice. Butkice premazati sa mascu, posoliti izbosti na nekoliko mesta i sve staviti u rernu na 200 stepeni 20 minuta. Posle 20 min premazati butkice sa sosem koji smo napravili i peci ih jos 10 minuta na 180 stepeni. Posle 10 min preliti ih sa 100 ml piva i vratiti u rernu na jos 10 minuta na 180 stepeni. Prijatno!

Two ham hocks, total weight 3.5 kg
2 onions
Celery root and stick (amount is optional)
1 carrot
1 parsley root
A few garlic cloves
A few black peppercorns
For the coating:
1 teaspoon of mustard
1 teaspoon of tomato paste
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
A little bit of oil
100 ml of beer
Boil ham hocks for around 3h. Remove the foam that appears during the boiling process. Chop the vegetables and add them into the pot with hams. Add a few black peppercorns too. After 3h of boiling take the ham hocks out and drain them. Grease the baking pan with 2 tablespoons of pig fat, then add the potatoes. Then put the ham hocks on it. Coat the ham hocks with pig fat, add salt and poke a few holes with a knife and bake them in the oven on 200 °C for 20 minutes. After 20 mins brush the ham hocks with the sauce we made and bake them for another 10 minutes on 180°C. After 10 min pour 100 ml of beer over them and return them in the oven for 10 more min on 180°C. Enjoy!
