It is estimated around 6000 products are made of petroleum. When crude oil or natural gas is processed at refinery or petrochemical complex, it gets converted into numerous petroleum products.
These petroleum products include LPG, Gasoline, Diesel Oil, Kerosene, Aviation Fuel, Heating Oil, Waxes , Lubricating oils and Petroleum Coke etc.
If we talk with respect to daily use products, it includes medicines such as Aspirin, most of plastic derived products are made from petroleum only after processing into petrochemical complex.
Similarly food waxes used for coating on raw fruits and vegetables. Polyester that includes approx. 60% of clothing world wide derived from petroleum products only.
Part of tooth paste ingredient, shampoo bottles many other such products are there, which is are being derived form petroleum only
