This truck and I are beginning to have a painful history!
The truck is a General Motors 1945 World war two era 6X6 "Duce and a half, truck." Also known as a cckw353 former military surplus truck made into a crane. Sitting atop is a Bantam model T35 crane. We call this rig "War Baby." The crane has a 4 cylinder gas powered Leroi engine. The crane is currently equipped with an orange peel bucket for digging 4 foot diameter water wells.
