The last of my Christmas market videos (long form). I'm thankful for the inspiration @KaraandNate to go and explore European Christmas markets. I came to prefer to smaller more local experiences.
The byparken Julebyen is on the shore central lake in #stavanger. It is small but that only adds to its charm. There is hot food, beautiful wooden cabins with local small businesses and handicraft. A horse and carriage will take you on a short ride along the foot path by the lake. There are performances from local groups and choirs. Best of all there are loads of spaces to sit and take in the beauty of this place. Either in a plastic igloo or perched on a wooden log with a fur to keep you warm.
