MALDEN, MISSOURI - PIGGOTT, ARKANSAS - Weak tornadoes were captured on Sunday afternoon, March 30th, 2025 as severe storms developed and pushed into the area. The first weak tornado was spotted in a field west of Malden, Arkansas as a tornado warned storm moved into the area. The tornado spun up quickly as the rear flank downdraft assisted in convergence for a short time. The second tornado was much closer range underneath a small, but tight mesocyclone just south of Piggot, Arkansas. This tornado was more stout than the first, but they both lasted only a few minutes at best. No damage was reported. Drone shots show the storms as they organized and lightning bolts were observed from the dash cam.
