STORY START
Narration: The cold morning air, an open field in the middle of the forest, tall trees all around, a light fog hanging in the air. All the soldiers stand in a straight line in their khaki uniforms. The cold is so intense that steam is coming out of their breaths.

Commander: (In a stern voice) Attention!

Narration: All the soldiers stomp their feet and stand straight.

Commander: (In a loud voice) About face!

Narration: With a single sound, they all turn around.

Commander: (Normal voice) Straighten up, march right.

Narration: All the soldiers start marching forward, left-right, left-right, in perfect unison.

Commander: (Proudly) This is the Indian Army, not a single step out of line.

Narration: In a wooden hut in the middle of the forest, the five children are playing Ludo in a circle on the wooden floor.

Chintu 10: (Normal voice) Hey Pinku, don't cut my piece!

Pinky 12: (Laughing) Everything is fair in the game!

Narration: Amidst the children's laughter, in a corner of the hut,
the mother-in-law and daughters-in-law are sitting and talking. Priyanka 30: (Worried) Didi, the children aren't even able to go to school. It's been so many months.

Jyoti 29: (Sighing deeply) Yes, Didi, you're right. I hope all these circumstances don't ruin the children's future.

Divya 28: (Confidently) Didi, what are you saying? These are soldiers' children, not made of glass, but of steel!

Shilpa 27: (Smiling in agreement) Yes, Bhabhi, nothing will happen. So what if they haven't gone to school for a few months? We teach them at home every day. They're learning just as much here as they would at school.

Upon reaching the kitchen, Neha checked the gas cylinder. The cylinder was completely empty. Shilpa opened the food containers; the lentils were gone, the flour was gone, and the oil bottle was lying upside down.

Jyoti 29: (Panicked) Sister, what do we do now? There's no gas cylinder, and there's nothing to eat in the house.

Shilpa 27: (Normal voice) Yes, sister, there's no rice either. Otherwise, we could have made rice.
