Hina Khan is a Pakistani Karate player. She is a national Karate Champion and aspirant for South Asian games. She wants to win Gold Medal for Pakistan at Islamic Solidarity Games.
This hobby belonged to her father. Hina Khan and her sister, both are currently champions in Pakistan's national Karate team. Their father supported them a lot. They are from Khan family so they faced a lot of problems from their relatives.
Their relatives believe that now their fathers should marry off their daughters.
Hina Khan says that women should learn self-defence.


میرا نام حنا خان ہے اور میں پاکستان آرمی کی کراٹے پلئیر ہوں۔ اور یہ شوق میرے بابا کا تھا۔
میرے بابا خود ایک کیوکیشن کے پلئیر تھے۔ پر انہیں اتنے مواقع نہیں ملے اور وہ نیشنل تک نہیں گئے اور ان کا خواب تھا کہ ان کی دو بیٹیاں ہوں تو میں اور میری بہن اس وقت پاکستان کراٹے کی نیشنل ٹیم میں ہیں اور میں پچھلے گیارہ سال سے پاکستان کو ریپریزینٹ کر رہی ہوں اور نیشنل چیمپئن ہوں۔
میرے والدین نے مجھے بہت سپورٹ کیا پر میں خان فیملی سے ہوں اور میرے دادا اور تایا چچا، انہوں نے بالکل بھی سپورٹ نہیں کیا بلکہ دو تین سال۔ بس ہم جب چھوٹے تھے تو بابا لے کر جاتے تھے تو کسی نے کچھ نہیں کہا جیسے جیسے بڑے ہوگئے تو انہوں نے بولا بس کر دو، بہت ٹائم ہو گیا، اب ان کی شادی کروا دو۔ اس طرح کے بہت ساری رکاٹوں کا مجھے سامنا کرنا پڑیں۔
میں یہی یوتھ کو کہوں گی کہ کچھ ماں باپ ہوتے ہی وہ کہتے ہیں کہ بچوں کو پڑھائی پر زیادہ فوکس کرنا چاہئے۔
ٹھیک ہے، آپ پڑھائی پر فوکس کرائیں، پر لڑکیوں کی سیلف ڈیفینس کے لئے بہت بہترین گیم ہے۔
آپ بے شک ان کو کیپمس وغیرہ میں نہ لے کر جائیں۔ مگر کم از کم ان کو کلب لیول تک جانے دیں۔ ان کو سیلف ڈیفینس سیکھنا چاہیے، تاکہ وہ ہمارے اس معاشرے میں سروائیو کر سکے۔
ابھی جو ایونٹ آ رہا ہے وہ اسلامک گیمز ہیں، اور میں چاہتی ہوں کہ میری اس میں سلیکشن ہو اور میں پاکستان کے لئے میڈل لے کر آؤں۔

My name is Hina Khan and I am karate player of Pakistan Army. And this hobby was my father's.
My father himself was a Curation player. But he didn't get that many opportunities and he didn't go to the national level and he had a dream to have two daughters, so me and my sister are currently in the Pakistan Karate National Team and I have been representing Pakistan for the past eleven years and I am a national champion.
My parents supported me a lot but I am from Khan family and my grandfather and uncles, they didn't support me at all but for two or three years. When we were little, Our father used to take us, then no one said anything. As we grew older, They said, stop, it's too late.
Now get them married. I had to face such many hurdles.
I would say to this youth that some parents say that children should focus more on studies.
Well, you can focus on studies, but it's the best self defence game for girls.
You should definitely not take them to campuses etc. But at least let them go to club level. They should learn self-defence, so that they can survive in our society.
The upcoming event is the Islamic Games, and I want to get selected in it and bring a medal for Pakistan.
